In 2008, Gaston County Parks and Tourism installed 80 new campsites. These new sites have 50 amp breakers.  If you need 30 amp service, you WILL need an adapter.  (None of the sites, old or new, will include sewer hook-ups)  A “few” campsites are currently available with “water only” (no electricity).  If you are able to use your own generator or plan to be tent camping “SPACE” will not be a problem.
